Sensory Mapping

This information graphic is the result of a five-day intensive project at the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. The goal of the project was to map human sensory information and my chosen scenario was air travel. This poster represents one piece of a larger, collaborative effort.

Depicted here are three data points: the stimulated sense, intensity of stimulation, and whether the sensation is positive or negative. We worked collectively to catalog sensory information and individually to develop a visual language to communicate it. Completed Fall 2010 at Willem de Kooning Academie, Rotterdam.
